Dragon Con is a popular convention for lovers of science fiction, fantasy, gaming, art, comics, music, and film. It includes workshops, contests, vendors, and a parade in downtown. On Friday there is a free Dragon Con Party in Woodruff Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Dragon Con Parade on Peachtree Street is on Saturday at 10 a.m.
September 2 - 4, 2023 Labor Day Weekend at Stone Mountain Park

Labor Day Weekend is celebrated at Stone Mountain Park with fireworks starting at 9:30 p.m.
Monday, September 4, 2023 Big Peach Sizzler

Big Peach Sizzler is a 10K race that starts in Chamblee and a 5K race that starts in Brookhaven. Both races end in Buckhead with a party.
September 7 - 10, 2023 Yellow Daisy Festival at Stone Mountain

The Yellow Daisy Festival at Stone Mountain showcases over 500 vendors for arts & crafts, food, live music, a children’s corner, and a flower show lining the roads. The event is free except parking which is $20/day or $40/yearly pass.
May 5 - September 4th, 2023 Cocktails in the Garden

Cocktails in the Garden at the Atlanta Botanical Garden allows visitors to stroll through the gardens with a cocktail in hand, listen to live music and play lawn games. There is a cash bar, hourly parking fees and Admission tickets are $22/adult $19/child.
September 15 - 17, 2023 Imagine Music Festival

Imagine Music Festival is an EDM festival held at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. There are multiple stages with a lineup of DJs and performers. Participants have the option of camping in designated areas nearby.
